Our client is a high-visibility computer components company working on novel Linux operating systems development and delivery. This project requires a user-friendly, intuitive, and visually pleasing UI as well as the code to implement that UI. The Graphics Specialist's task will be to create visual assets for the OS/UI being built. S/He will turn the design into the various assets that make up a full OS UI (icons and similar art work).
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years' experience, senior-level expertise in graphics
UI design and development
Knowledge of Linux and programming concepts
Formal training in graphics development
Communication skills (verbal and written)
Flexibility/Adaptability
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
C/C++ programming skills
Linux experience
Estimated length of assignment: 12 months
