About the role:

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related discipline or equivalent experience.

Job Description:
1. Correct technical problems within defined SLAs. Analyze root cause and permanently correct. Document incidents.
2. Perform server checks prior to server deployment to the network.
3. Configure and maintain server systems using industry best practices.
4. Secure Servers.
5. Monitor server performance.
6. Replace hardware as needed.

This is a smaller company who has hired some of the best and brightest Atlanta has to offer!. You will have an opportunity to work on various aspects of technology from hardware to software, Firewall configuration, telephone system admin, user support, LAN/WAN and much more! You will also gain exposure to both Linux and Windows, as the Linux portion of the job is to support the production environments the company hosts, but they actually use Windows as their operating system. Responsibilities:
Administration and support of internal IT needs, Hardware/Software procurement, audit and inventory
Running vulnerability scans and Firewall configuration, plus maintenance of Antivirus software
Providing support to internal users (15 on-site, 15 at client sites), printer support, troubleshoot end user issues
LAN/WAN monitoring and improving the overall quality of internal networks
Telephone system administration and support
Maintenance of internal and cloud based backup system
Grow into a role of providing help to the company's cloud-based hybrid infrastructure
Patching software on a routine basis and inventorying all the software
Document processes, policies and procedures
Requirements:
1-2+ years of Linux (KEY)
1+ year of IT experience including IT services and support
Windows administration
Comfortable in a smaller environment and being the "go-to" person in many circumstances.
Can interact directly with the President, C-level execs, etc.
Knowledge of network architectures and data communication protocols including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VoIP
Basic understanding of Firewall and VPN configuration and Vulnerability prevention techniques
Pluses:
