Mentor/Train Team Members
Handle tickets/requests
Perform root cause analysis
Troubleshoot technical issues
Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
Understand of Multi-geo support environment
Improve and maintain customer and employee satisfaction
Plan Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support
Test/Audit/processes as required from time to time
Identify Skill gaps and plan for training/knowledge updating
Assist/Plan/Procedure in Data center consolidation efforts
Day-to-Day report analysis tasks
Vendor co-ordination & follow upThe right candidate will have the following technical experience:
Minimum of 5 years in Linux & prefrebly HPC Support experience
Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers/Virtualization
Administration and Management of Torque Resource Manager
Administration and Management of Platform LSF
Configuration and administration of LVM
Knowledge of Infiniband Switches
Installing and Maintaining kick start environment
Patch and Package administration using Red Hat Satellite Server & Rocks
Skillful in Perl scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue (HP/IBM/DELL Blades and Rack Mount Servers)
Administer and configure various FS like JFS,ext2, ext3, OCFS & Pseudo FS
Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
Work Experience in NAS Servers administration
Good knowledge on Security management
Configuration and troubleshooting of network management
Good knowledge on User management.
Performance ManagementREDHAT Certificate is a MUST!
