Linux (Ubuntu) Administrator is required to join a leading technology company based from their head office in Farnborough.
Working throughout the full support lifecycle you will be responsible for helping to support their infrastructure, from both a hardware and software perspective, ensuing that they are able to provide an uninterrupted service to their growing customer base. You will be supporting their growing Ubuntu Linux infrastructure, predominantly from a server perspective but also in regard to some desktop support. Furthermore you will be helping to support their network infrastructure, including Juniper firewalls and Cisco based network.
The correct Ubuntu Linux Administrator will have:
*An in-depth knowledge of Ubuntu (or equivalent distro) server systems
*Experience of load balancing and clustering
*Strong knowledge of computer networking, including Cisco networks and Juniper firewalls
*Any experience of MySQL would be desirable
*Strong communication skills
*Any experience within Java/Ruby would be beneficial
