Contract Length: 12 month+ contract

ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced development architect to provide technical support to the organization with the design and implementation of mobile applications for the platforms iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

Focus is on Business-to-Employee, Business-To-Business and also Business-To-Consumer apps.

You will work with in-house and external engineers and agencies to support them with the design and development

MAIN RESPONIBILITIES

Provide support for architecting mobile applications from the ground up, as well architectural involvement to implementing new features, fixing bugs and improving robustness, security, performance of our applications.

Work with business representatives, project managers, etc. to assess requirements, explore technical dependencies, and provide guidance to submit project requests.

Develop critical, complex and reusable components for mobile apps.

Mentor other developers and help grow team skill sets.

Act as knowledge leader in software development theory and practice.

Conduct quality assurance on developed mobile apps.

Validate and sign mobile applications before submission to the app store

Support the Client mobility focus group with mobile development related technical and architectural aspects. and provide support to build the Nestlé mobility strategy

Support the maintenance of the Client's development standards guidelines and best practices for mobile application development

Key Skills

Deep expertise/experience in projects related to developments of mobile applications (Design/Architecture/Development/Testing/Deployment) (VERY IMP) on the platforms iOS, Android, Windows Phone

Deep experience in dealing with complex environment and in integrating with other technologies (.Net, SUP, SAP,) (VERY IMPORTANT)

Full understanding of the processes and tools involved for signing and submitting mobile apps (internal and external app stores)

Ability to coach resources dealing with challenging projects from a technical and environmental point of view

Remains focused at all times. Can onboard rapidly and quickly create consensus.

Experience in coordinating with external development teams

Fluent in English both written and spoken

Ability to think out of the box and find alternative solutions to critical issues

Hunger to constantly learn new skills while working in an environment that is fast paced, test-driven, collaborative, iterative and agile.

Continuously makes use of best practices, including design documentation, unit testing, code review and a preference for Agile development.

KNOWLEDGE

Strong technical credentials, with 5+ years experience working with Cocoa Objective-C on both iOS and OSX, and 3+ years experience working with C++.

Strong technical credentials, with 5+ years experience working with Android

Strong technical credentials, with 5+ years experience working with .NET/Windows Mobile/Windows Phone

Impeccable understanding of memory management and multi-threaded development.

In-depth knowledge of more than three of the following: Core Data, GCD, Core Graphics, OpenGL ES, Core Text, Push Notifications.

Required Qualifications

Expertise in Mobility related technologies and delivery models associated

Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering preferred).
