Sr. Linux Engineer Prestigious Global Trading Firm, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a Lead Linux Engineer for their high frequency/low latency Network.
Experience
Strong Linux administration experience is required, preferably in a trading environment
Bachelor's Degree
Red Hat Certified Engineer
Experience in a trading firm highly preferred
Skills
Expert in Linux including most of the following:
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or a derivative such as Centos
Scripting with Python and/or Perl and/or Shell
Expert understanding of TCP/IP Networking, including Ethernet, IP, ARP, TCP, UPD, etc
Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL, etc is needed.
Employment Type: Permanent
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Other Pay Info: Open+Bonus
