ITC is seeking a LINUX Systems Engineer for one of our top tier mortgage clients in Santa Ana, CA
The ideal candidate will have strong RHEL/Linux, Apache, EMC, and Security experience.
This is a direct hire full time direct hire position.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for all activities related to the deployment, implementation, and administration of systems including control, maintenance, and support of all system environments and related applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Architect highly complex, global solutions across the appropriate engineering environments to meet business requirements or enhance performance
* Review cost analyses and vendor comparison reports to ensure cost:effective and efficient operations. Recommend vendor/approach and present to senior management
* Review and recommend highly complex systems investment(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues
* Provide escalated, highly complex technical support to customers by investigating and resolving systems:related matters of significance; provide support telephonically and/or electronically
* Plan, conduct and oversee the technical aspects of large, complex projects; coordinate the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and provide management overview
* Develop and apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex system requirements and problems. Develop training tools and documentation; oversees implementation of same
* Review literature, patents and current practices to support business requirements and/or new industry technology. Prepare reports and/or recommendations regarding
