Technical Support Engineer
Responsible for the support of COMPANYs integrated solutions for audio/video control, streaming for hospitals. The position is for someone comfortable with Linux system administration and strongly willing to learn our integrated Audio/Video/Control system inside out.
Responsibilities:
? Become responsible for system operation support
? Handle and resolve support calls from our field technicians and customers
? Log and perform triage of production issues
? Resolve level 1 and 2 issues
? Work with COMPANYs Engineers to solve issues and deploy fixes
? Support field technicians during deployment and troubleshooting of issues
Requirements:
? 2 years of Linux system and administration experience
? Experience with Web Application Stack (ex: Apache/MySQL/PHP or Ruby)
? Familiar with digital audio and video technologies
? Excellent troubleshooting skills
? Ability to logically exclude faulty pieces from equations
? Active listening skills, excellent oral skills
? Able to work Eastern Standard time shift, due to our large client base on the East Coast
? Occasional travel may be required
