Assignment description:
My Client is currently converting an inversion program from Matlab to C++.
The inversion code has been written in customer in Matlab, has been given the task to convert it to C++,
enhance its performance and create a version to run on Linux cluster using standard programming techniques.
This request concerns the follow-up of the implementation of the code in customer's Linux cluster environments.
We are capable of following up numerical challenges regarding the methodology, but IT compentence such as compiling and parallel implementation of a C++ program is requested.
The task is to follow-up and guide the development of a parallel program carried out.
Consultants will also have software development tasks that involve modification and tuning of seismic code.
Competence requirements:
High performance computing on Linux platform
parallell programming
C++/C/Fortran/Java and Scripting languages
Experience in C++ compiling and OpenMP/MPI programs
Language requirements (if essential for the work): English and Norwegian, (Danish and Swedish)
