A large and growing international E-commerce company based in Amsterdam is searching for experienced Senior Android developers. Their website currently attracts 30 million unique visitors a month, and their application supports a similar service. The app has millions of downloads, so any previous experience working on large applications is a big plus.

Because this is a senior position, it is expected that you have experience working on a diverse range of projects. Experience creating basic apps like quizzes or to-do lists would not be sufficient enough for this role. They are looking for someone who can take the applications to the next level.

The mobile team is being doubled in size this year, in order to improve their current application, create new apps and add more creative people to the team who will help to develop new strategies for this department.

You will be working together with colleagues in the mobile team as well as other teams, so excellent communication skills in English are required. Their working approach is very data driven, so any experience with A/B testing would be a big plus.

Key skills:

Extensive knowledge of Android SDK (expert)

Java (at least 5+yrs and ideally also experience with different languages)

HTML5 (plus)

Javascript (plus)

Javascript Extensions (plus)

Design skills Photoshop (plus)

Previous SQL or Scripting knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn would also be considered.

Fluent communication skills are vital for this position.
