Linux, MySQL, DNS, NFS, TCP/IP experience required for my client seeking a Senior Linux Engineer. You will be working for a leading global online organization within the IT Operations department.
You main responsibilities will include:
Participate as a member of the Site Operations team responsible for operationally excellent management and operation of the company Servers required to keep the web properties running in a 24x7x365 environment.
Build, maintain, secure and upgrade our Linux systems (web Servers, application Servers & databases).
Assess systems utilization to assist in troubleshooting and performance tuning
Provide on-call support for critical issues on a rotational basis
Testing and implementation of high availability and disaster recovery solutions
Candidates should have at least 5 years previous experience working with similar technologies in a high volume database, system and networking environment.
Employment Type: Permanent
Duration: Permanent
Pay: 50,000 to 60,000 GBP (British Pound)
Pay Period: Annual
