Velossent is working with a strong Information Security Solutions company in a search for a Linux Developer/System Admin. If you have strong Linux Kernel Development skills  and are interested in working with cutting edge technology we'd like to speak.
The position is based just outside the Perimeter on the north side of Atlanta and offers very easy access form Midtown, Buckhead, Vinings, Marietta, Sandy Springs and surrounding areas. The role offers excellent.
Linux Development/Sys Admin -
Must haves
Linux Kernel development - experience in building and customizing Linux installations
Experience in debugging linux Servers
Experience with various flavors of Linux - Debain, RedHat, CentOS, Fedora etc.
Experienced building Linux based web Servers using Apache, MySQL, and PHP
Experienced with creating VM's (ESXi/VMWare) with various flavors of Linux
Experience/Knowledge with Firewalls
Experience/Knowledge with setting up VPN's
Experience with LAMP and working with software development teamsLike to haves:
Experience tuning a Linux based web server for high transaction rates
LDAP and Active Directory knowledge a plus
Knowledge of hacker toolsets a plus
Good in front of customers - will assist in customer installations and installation planning
Knows enough about network security to advise and discuss with customers
JavaScript development
PHP development
Experience with Scripting languages (Perl, TCL, Expect, etc.) for automating tasks
Experience with load-balancing and clustering of Servers
Experience with customer training
Experience with customer support
Knowledge of hacker toolsets a plus
Experience in test driven development a plus
Employment Type: Permanent
Pay: $70,000 to $90,000 USD
Pay Period: Annual
