This is a 9 month contract to hire position.
Most recent work experience should be with a large RHEL environment (1000+ Servers). The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of hardware platforms including Dell, HP, IBM both rackable and modular (blade technologies). Responsibilities will include troubleshooting system performance issues, diagnosing problems and correcting issues with technicians located in remote data centers around the world.
Position requirements:
Red Hat Linux operating systems - 5 years.
Protocols:
SMTP
HTTP
SSL
DNS
NFS
Understanding of Client Server - 5 years.
Understanding of NetBackup - 5 years.
Understanding of SAN configurations - 5 years.
LDAP user authentication - 5 years.
TeamQuest monitoring - 5 years.
Duration: 9 month contract to permanent
