Prestigious Enterprise Company is looking for a Linux Storage Architect. Individual will be working on complex systems and building good software but also ensuring that it achieves its goals in operation. Individual will have strong distributed systems knowledge with experience in web service design & implementation and experience implementing Client Server architecture using C++/Java in a Linux/Unix environment.

Qualifications:

- You should have a sound understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP)

- 2+ years of professional experience in software development with the following skill sets:

- Proficiency in C++ or Java development, Proficiency in Object-oriented design experience

- Proficiency in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

- Development experience in a Unix/Linux environment

- Designing and building distributed systems

- Familiarity with Tomcat and other Java-based Servers

Preferred Qualifications:

- Understanding of networking protocols

- Publish/subscribe or other event messaging technologies

- Client Server development

- REST Architecture

- Online Transaction Processing

- MySQL, and any NoSQL experience

- Shell Scripting (Perl, python, etc)

 

 

Employment Type: Permanent

Pay: $85,000 to $105,000 USD
Pay Period: Annual
Other Pay Info: Bonus
