SR. Linux ENGINEER
CHICAGO, IL
Major trading firm is seeking highly skilled and experienced Sr. Linux Engineers to help support and expand the firms growing Linux environment. Looking for someone who has extensive experience as a Linux Engineer.
Testing new Linux distributions
Performance tuning
Automation and Scripting.
Collaborating with IT and trading.
Providing support to development and trading desks.
Researching new technologies outside of Linux
Maintain required documentation.
Willing to work before and or after the markets open/close.
Requirements:
7+ years of Linux experience required.
Experience with various network protocols.
Troubleshooting and supporting the environment
Strong Scripting and automation experience required.
Performance tuning experience required.
Excellent communication skills.
No third party resumes.
Bachelors Degree required.
