Prestigious financial firm located in Chicago is looking for a very senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer.
This position is responsible for high-level design of trading systems architecture, in-depth performance analysis and troubleshooting, planning and deployment of new installations of trading infrastructure.
Requirements
Deep understanding of Linux Operating Systems internals
Extensive experience with Python/Perl Scripting
Ability to dive deep into Kernel source
Capable of performing statistical analysis of performance metrics
Ability and willingness to do critical strategy work all the way through hands on implementation
Conversant with network protocols/experience with troubleshooting network issues
