Senior System Administration - UNIX/Linux, TCP/IP, Electronic trading, HFT, PHP, Perl, Bash - Dynamic International electronic trading organization requires a candidate with a solid understanding of Red Hat, Fedora, Scientific Linux and CentOS, who is able to co-design, implement and maintain technical IT infrastructure in a broader sense; monitor, guard and analyze the proper functioning of the server infrastructure.
Other responsibilities and requirements are the following:
How to run and operate large server footprints by using automation tools like Cobbler, Kickstart and Puppet
Network fundamentals like TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
Linux system internals
At least one Scripting language (Perl, Python or Ruby)
Monitoring designs, requirements and limitations
Version controlled environments
Database concepts
Only English required and candidates must have a degree level education.
Salary range: 60K - 65K plus benefits
