Will serve as a Linux Systems Administrator for a growing organization.
Will be responsible for all systems (hardware and software) systems administration, configuration, installation and management responsibilities. Must be comfortable participating in a research and development environment, consistently looking for innovative ways to improve and optimize systems operation and infrastructure.
Will be responsible for Systems Backup and Recovery, Systems Management through enterprise systems management tools (currently using TSM), machine maintenance (using xCAT), configuration and management of all network services on server, maintaining software patches. Will be responsible for writing scripts to help automate admin tasks, and we're looking for someone who can build servers from bare machines.
Requirements include:
• Top Secret/SCI clearance and Active Lifestyle or Full Scope polygraph to be considered for this role
• 5+ years of Linux Systems administration experience (Current)
• Strong Networking background
• 1+ year of Enterprise Systems management experience (Tivoli, Unicenter, Service Desk, BMC Patrol, Enterasys, etc)
• Experience writing shell scripts
• Backup and Recover experience
