IT Automation Engineer: 2nd Line, Linux, Solaris, Wintel, Scripting, Automation, Apache Ant, Perl, Version Control.

IT Automation Engineer required by my leading financial services client to provide 2nd Line support across business critical applications. You will be heavily involved with system integration and release management responsibilities.

As the IT Automation Engineer you will be working with business critical systems, exposure to a large variety of systems/applications/databases with a strong focus on automation of business processes.

IT Automation Engineer Essential Key Skills Required:

* Degree in Computer Science or similar.

* Strong experience in implementing and designing application development and release processes/tools.

* Sound experience in automation and integration technologies

* Strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting, Apache Ant, Perl and MS Powershell.

* Expert experience in Linux, Solaris and Wintel system administration

* Strong knowledge in version control systems

* TIBCO and JBOSS application platforms.

* Experience with Middleware/ETL technologies such as IBM WebSphere MQ/IBM Infosphere Datastage.

* Financial Services domain experience would be useful
