Leading Australian organisationSoftware Engineer - Embedded Linux and C
This role is to create software products based on specifications developed in conjunction with customer application experts from other departments within the company.
Under guidance you would conduct product research leading to new or improved products to maintain the company's competitive position and profitability
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent, advanced degree desirable
3-5 years of Embedded software development experience
Proven experience in large complex software/hardware developments, several years of Embedded development
Experienced in C and/or C++
Several years experience using Embedded Linux (Kernel and user levels) or RTOS
Several years experience utilising pthreads, understands and uses IPC and synchronisation methods
Understands and have successfully utilised OO approach on one or more large software and hardware projects
Understands basic networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, and ICMP
Various Authentication methods/protocols: Kerberos, Radius
Directory services such as: LDP and Windows EATS
