Requirements:

Technical Requirements

10+ years relevant professional experience in the areas of server support, technical customer support, problem management.

10+ years UNIX System Administration experience (Solaris and AIX preferred). Linus is a plus.

10+ years Scripting experience in a UNIX environment: Shell, SED, AWK, Perl, etc.

Excellent troubleshooting and error analysis skills

Full working knowledge of Information Security concepts

Experience troubleshooting hardware and network problems

Experience defining Sun and IBM hardware configurations

Experience in multi-vendor environments

Solid understanding of software development life cycle

Experience with Client Server, N-Tier Architecture

Good understanding of storage architecture design techniques, theories, principles, and practices.

Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting Unix Servers and storage Servers and management software.

Basic knowledge of networking, TCP, UDP, etc.

Hands-on SAN/NAS/DAS troubleshooting experience.

Experience with tape/disk drives and Netbackup backup and restore technologies.

Knowledge of applicable data retention practices.

EMC CLARiiON CX3 Storage Arrays

EMC Control Center and Navisphere Management Suite and Analyzer

EMC Solutions Enabler/SYMCLI, PowerPath, SnapView, and SANCopy, Mirrorview

EMC Symmetrix (SRDF/S, SRDF/A, & SRDF/AR) experience is a plus

Brocade SAN Switches

Fabric Design and Topologies

Data Migration Methodologies

Required Interpersonal Skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a cooperative spirit

Detail orientation

Capable to stand alone in meetings and represent group with internal/external customers
