Established 10+ years, our client have an enviable reputation within their target market within the online space. Due to high growth, they are now looking to grow aggressively in the market, extending their reach nationally & internationally.

Based in their modern, lively CBD office, they are looking for an experienced, resourceful & enthusiastic Systems and Storage Administrator to work alongside their development team, providing technical support & a high- degree of customer service to complement their market- leading solutions.

You will be responsible for:

Setup, configuration, monitoring & troubleshooting of Linux-based systems;

Perform back up and storage duties

Troubleshooting systems/infrastructure level problems;

Ongoing security management;

Close interaction with external clients on an ongoing basis;

Providing on call support;

Providing technical documentation;

Undertaking project-based work as required.

You will have:

3+ years commercial Systems Admin experience;

Extensive backup and storage experience - SAN, Netbackup and/or NAS

Strong Linux skills - preferably Red Hat and/or Ubuntu;

A solid operational knowledge of IP Networking & network management software;

Web Server experience - preferably Apache;

Experience in handling production systems and associated issues;

Ability to prioritise & manage own workload;

Strong customer service skills;

Any Unix/Solaris experience would be a bonus, as would any exposure to DevOps methodologies.
