Yoh has a (9) month contract opportunity for a Software Engineer - Linux to join our client in Portland, OR.

Job Responsibilities:

- Software Engineer - Linux will primarily focus on Linux based development.
- The Software Engineer - Linux position duties will include implementation of device drivers and developing libraries in C and Python for audio, video, DDR memory and other standard parallel/serial busses.
- Software Engineer - Linux will also develop application level SW and scripts in python and bash.
- Software Engineer - Linux will also work as a part of a team to resolve issues arising from driver development.


Job Qualifications:

- C and C# programming five (5) plus years experience.
- Strong proficiency with Linux operating system.
- Proficiency with Python and Bash scripting.
- Solid understanding of circuit and device fundamentals
- Experience with driver level software development
- Strong proficiency with Object Oriented coding methodology
- Ability to function in a team environment
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and communication protocols
- Experience in developing safe Multi-threaded applications
- Driver development experience for devices like USB, PCI, SDIO, SATA etc.
