Our client located in Center City Philadelphia is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator for a 15 month assignment
Position Description: Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to perform support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the architecture hosting our Internet and Intranet web presences, web applications, and corresponding technologies. This position is needed for up to 15 months, working alongside our other System Engineer. Diligence and performance in this role could lead to potential permanent opportunities within this high profile organization.
Required Skills:
-Experience with Linux/Red Hat/RHEL/Red Hat Enterprise Linux
-Maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux architecture for Internet, Intranet, and applications)
-Experience in a clustered environment
-Apache HTTP server Experience with some mods (Bonus: "Mod rewrite" or "Mod Security") or other configuration management concepts
