*Contract to Hire Opportunity!*
Our client is developing a JAVA based platform for the newest model of one of the most popular car models on the market. This is a position with the group that is developing cutting edge technology in the automotive space. The team is integrating mobile phone connectivity for vehicles, enabling driving environments to safely access services like Pandora, iHeart Radio, Bing, OpenTable, Movie Tickets, and more.

Collaborate with a broad mobile Client Server development team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All aspects of technical design and development, including coding, unit-testing, code reviews, project scoping and documentation review
Team escalation manager for all projects the team is working on
Work item breakdown and delegation
Design and architecture coordination with other mobile teams
REQUIREMENTS:
2-3 years of in-depth programming experience on Android
5-6 years of experience developing applications for handheld or
Embedded platforms (Android, MIDP, Windows Mobile, Symbian or Blackberry)
At least 5 years experience as a developer delivering consumer software applications
Experience in writing Client Server applications
Strong object-oriented design and development skills
Working knowledge of network communication protocols
Ability to learn new development environments and quickly become productive in them
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills
