Embedded Software Engineer - Immediate start

The role

The successful Embedded software engineer will be joining a medium sized team of engineers working on Embedded linux platforms for IPTV and STB products. This role will report to the Principal Embedded Software Engineer who works below the Software Manager and Director.

You

You'll be responsible for the full life cycle development of device driver and Middleware products based in the IPTV and STB domain. You'll be required to design new software and modify Legacy products.

The Embedded Software Engineer should have relevant experience in the below fields:

Essential Skills

*Significant Knowledge of Linux

*Embedded Software Development in 'C'

*C/C++ in Real Time applications

*Linux Kernel and Device Driver knowledge

Beneficial, None Essential Skills

*DSP or SoC Environments

*Broadcast Experience (DVB, QAM)

*Digital TV experience
