Requirements:

*Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a similar technical subject, or six or more years of related work experience

*Three or more years engineering experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Shell Scripting and supporting a 24x7 datacenter

*Two or more years' experience administering Unix Servers in an enterprise environment

*Three or more years of hands on experience with enterprise server hardware

*Three or more years experience conducting and participating in technical review meetings

*Two or more years' experience supporting open source or proprietary applications on Linux or Unix utilizing command line tools

*Demonstrated proficiency with NFS, TCP/IP, LDAP, SSH, DNS, SMTP, load balancing and troubleshooting

*Strong analytical and research skills - must be detail oriented

*Experience with documenting, communicating and ensuring system compliance

*Capability to effectively interact with external people on technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations

Preferred:

*Performs systems administration tasks primarily via command line

*Skilled in Scripting bash or ksh (Perl or python is a plus)

*Linux and Solaris System Engineering experience for project related planning and implementation

*Previous experience with SAN/NAS storage, NFS ACLs, and Samba on Linux or Unix (NetApp or HDS enterprise storage management experience is a plus)

*Demonstrated ability to work with a team and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency

*Experience supporting or deploying solutions.
