Linux Engineer/Linux Systems Engineer/Systems Linux Engineer: Hedge Fund Exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic Hedge Fund that manages Long and Short Equities, Quantitative Equities and other strategies to join a forward thinking technology team. We are looking for experienced Linux Systems Engineer to support a cross asset platform infrastructure responsible for oversight of daily systems support working on new project and bau projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong Linux background and Network background in TCP/IP and Administration background.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Expertise in Linux packaging and rollout/patching of Linux distributions
Experience with Linux Scripting
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with enterprise class server hardware, proficiency in NFS including clustered environments.
Proficiency with the Setup, modifications and troubleshooting of Samba
Knowledge of management technologies such as Zenoss, Spacewalk, Puppet
