My client, a global giant with a large pressence in Australia have budget signed off to grow their existing IT team. They are on a look out for an enthusiastic and skilled Unix/Linux Engineer to join their high performing team.
Reporting to the Unix lead, you will be working on large projects and provide operating system and hardware support to ensure server availability and manage process and procedures moving forward.
To be successful shortlisted in this role you will have:
Exceptional experience in Linux (Redhat)
Solid Unix (Solaris and HPUX) experience
Experience with Veritas Clustering
Proven experience with backup and recovery (Netbackup or Linux Kickstart)
Oracle RAC experience advantageous
Solid Unix Scripting experience
Industry certifications would be nice to have but not mandatory
