Our client is is currently undertaking a new and exciting integration & implementation project and is looking for a highly skilled Linux Engineer for a 6 month contract opportunity based in Melbourne CBD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all platform software/infrastructure configuration and administration processes.
To be considered for this contract position you will require the following skills and experience:
High level and in depth Linux operating system administration experience
Solid background working with software infrastructure configuration & administration with Linux Servers including Java app Servers, web Servers etc
Extensive knowledge with package management processes and technologies
Experience with Chef configuration management tool desirable
Understading and familiarity with Ruby Scripting language
Experience with common open source systems and databases
Familiarity with Cloud Foundry PaaS stack desirable
Solid consultative approach together with experience of client facing roles
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
