Linux/Unix Senior Systems Administrator/Senior Linux Engineer/Senior Linux Admin/Linux Admin Specialist:  Prop Trading Firm. A dynamic and cutting edge Prop Trading Firm is looking for a talented and dynamic Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator to work in a fast paced environment working on new projects and BAU. You will be responsible for ensuring that the installation, monitoring and maintenance of all the operational Trading software & hardware is deployed in a timely fashion.

You will be responsible for service management, provide line support to traders and other users, test and deploy in-house 3rd part trade software and responsible for the software release. You will be working within a fast paced trading environment ensuring smooth migrations and upgrades and responsible for the environment management.

The successful candidate will be Degree qualified with a background in computer science or another related degree with experience working within a similar environment or a blue chip enterprise environment. You will have experience with Linux Redhat (RHEL) Administration commands and Scripting in either SQL and VBA or MySQL experience is desirable. Experience in Oracle 10G and RAC is also advantaegous.
