Requirements include:
7+ years of Linux kernel and application development experience.
Expertise with open source development tools such as gdb, git and others.
Expertise in C and C++.
Kernel device driver development (block, char, and networking).
Expertise with SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and Infiniband.
Embedded systems development.
Familiarity with embedded systems security.
Experience creating, designing, and documenting complex systems.
Broad knowledge of existing open source storage technologies.
In depth knowledge of embedded system administration.
Definite pluses to the above include:
Understanding of the Open Source development process.
Direct contributions to Open Source communities.
Strong understanding of GPL and proprietary issues.
Ability to work independently as well as in a tight-knit team environment.
Willingness to embrace new technologies.
Must absolutely love to program.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the Engineering sciences.
