ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a VMware Support Engineer to join a rapidly growing company. This is a small shop of less than 10 people right now, but with the backing of a large telecom service provider and one of the largest merchant service companies in the world, they are expecting exponential growth over the next 3 months. In order to keep up with the demand, they are looking to grow the team to 50 people.
Our client offers an out of the box solution to their customers and you will coordinate with manufactures to configure and setup their customers with a Hosted Service Provider. The Support Engineer will setup, troubleshoot, resolve, and document customer inquiries around web portal functionality, performance, VM security, and network connectivity. In this role, both technical and soft skills are required. This role will be responsible for setting up partitions for customers based on data they receive from the Database Processors, as well as support our client's VMware infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in the following skill sets
Virtualized/VMware Enterprise Platform Support - Maintenance/Monitoring
VMware ESX -Diagnostics/Troubleshooting/Performance Tuning/Upgrades
Desktop/Server Hardware Support
Linux/UNIX Server Administration - Configuration/Support
LAN/WAN - Set Up/Configuration
Storage - SAN/DAS/RAIDHIGHLY DESIRED
Plesk/Parellels Plesk Panel - Server Setup/Configuration
Duration: Full Time
