Will serve as a Linux Systems Administrator for a growing organization.

Will be responsible for all systems (hardware and software) systems administration, configuration, installation and management responsibilities. This person will be comfortable participating in a research and development environment, consistently looking for innovative ways to improve and optimize systems operation and infrastructure. Will be responsible for Systems Backup and Recovery, Systems Management through enterprise systems management tools (currently using TSM), machine maintenance (using xCAT), configuration and management of all network services on server, maintaining software patches. Will be responsible for writing scripts to help automate admin tasks, and we're looking for someone who can build servers from bare machines.

Requirements include:

• Active TS/SCI + Poly (either Full Scope or Lifestyle Poly) MUST BE ACTIVE . (There is a possibility that someone with a TS/SCI + Polygraph that has been inactive for less than 2 years will be considered but the preference is for a candidate with CURRENTLY ACTIVE CLEARANCES)

• 5+ years of strong Linux Systems administration experience (Current)

• Strong Networking & security background

• Experience with RPM or YUM for system patching

• Experience writing shell scripts

• Backup and Recovery experience

• Experience deploying and configuring enterprise software across the network

Desired skills include:

• xCAT (Extreme Cluster Administration Toolk)

• Experience with parallel software deployments across networks without doing CD installs.
