C++ Linux IPTV/TV Software Engineer is required to join Europe's leading provider of IP based, data and video communications. They are looking to expand their team of engineers and are looking for an IPTV/TV software engineer to join their team to develop Linux-based hardware and software applications for IPTV/OTT/Smart TV platforms. Your responsibilities will include Software Development for IPTV streamers, VOD Servers, encryption systems, TV applications, etc. running on a Linux environment. Other responsibilities will include the following; Optimisation of Linux Kernel/modules/libraries, Browsers modules and source code to improve the Real Time performances; Development and maintenance of IPTV streamers on a Linux Embedded system; Software Development on Back Office Middleware Management platform; Optimization of TV Service Management application on Debian/HP platform; Development of video encryption tools and processes. To be considered for this role you will need a degree plus in depth knowledge of Linux operating system (Kernel, modules, Embedded systems) together with a high level of C/C++ programming language experience.
