My Top Tier Investment Banking client are seeking to bring in a Market Data Engineer (Low Latency, Linux OS, High Frequency) to join their Technical Market Data Support Team.
The Market Data Technical Support team covers three main areas: Ultra Low Latency (Colo); Enterprise Low Latency (Direct Exchange Infrastructure, eg Wombat or Exegy); and Classic Market Data (Thomson Reuters, Open Bloomberg, Factset, Exchange Connectivity, etc...). The group has follow-the-Sun support staff globally located in New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo to support the distribution of pricing, news and trade data throughout Investment, Wealth, Corporate, arms of their business.
In EMEA we have a specialist team that covers the first 2 areas (Colocation and Enterprise) for the region, where we now have a rare opening and a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join the team as a Market Data Engineer (Low Latency, Linux OS, High Frequency).
They require an Experienced Data Engineer who is keen to join and exciting, challenging nvironment with experience/exposure in common vendor technologies; NYSE tech 'Wombat' and/or RDMS. The Market Data Engineer (Low Latency, Linux OS, High Frequency) MUST have a wealth of knowlekdge and experience in Linux, Networking and Middleware.
