A solution provider specialising in providing workflow management solutions is currently in search of an Infrastructure Engineer to work onsite with their key client in Canberra.

They are currently implementing a web services solution for a large Government agency and the successful candidate will be involved in providing support to the client throughout the implementation process, systems integration, ensuring successful go-live and post implementation support of the client's infrastructure.

Duties will include:

Pre-implementation support of the client's infrastructure

Working with other vendors to integrate the solution into the client's infrastructure

Administration of network technologies, enterprise systems/applications and web hosting infrastructure on the client site

Act as an onsite point of contact for the client and ensure that SLAs are met. Experience required:

At least 3 years experience with networking and Enterprise Server technologies

Experience administering and supporting Windows & Linux Servers, Active Directory, VMware, etc

Apache Web Server administration skills

Application Server administration skills (eg Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, etc)

Experience troubleshooting Network Infrastructure

Ability to work in a client facing role, with excellent communication skills at all levels. This is a Permanent position, however contractors with suitable experience will also be considered.
