Systems Engineering Specialist Dublin permanent. My client part of a global Powerhouse in their own respected market is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
The Systems Engineer works as part of the Infrastructure &Platform Engineering team and is responsible for architecting, designing, building, and implementing complex globalinfrastructureand systems platforms, tools, and management frameworks in carrier-grade environments.
You will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, operation and overall management of systems and platform engineering (OS, Hardware, HA clustering, server virtualization, Middleware, etc.) for multiple global, geo-diverse Internet infrastructure production environments.
My client is looking for candidates around 5-6 years commercial experience implementing and supporting systems, platforms,and physical layersystems in mission-critical production datacenter environments. You will also have experience in or Certifications in three or more of the following OS and platforms: Red Hat Linux, SuSe Linux, Solaris, HPUX, Apache/Tomcat, VMWare, XenSource, MySQL, ITIL3, or similar.
