Senior Software Engineers - Linux
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Linux expert to join a global communications organisation working with cutting edge technologies and products as a senior software engineer primarily working with embedded Linux.
You will be an experienced software engineer with knowledge in software and hardware with skills in integration and debugging. You will have responsibility for timely delivery of software features, tracking defect fixes or new developments and providing status reports to the team leader.
Skills required:
* Embedded Linux with Linux Toolchains
* Linux Architecture - Bootloaders, Kernel Drivers etc.
* Embedded C
Advantageous:
* TCP/IP
* Networking Applications e.g. Firewalls, Routing, FTP
* Debugging techniques
* Defect tracking tools e.g. Jira, Clearcase
