Linux Administrator - Dublin
CPL Solutions currently have an urgent requirement for a Linux Administrator to work a daily rate contract in Dublin.
You will have experience in the following:
Skills/Experience Required:
Experience of hands on administration and support of open source technologies with expert knowledge in Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL configuration in Enterprise Environments.
Experience of hands on experience with Shell Scripting
Expert knowledge of configuration management systems (CFEngine, Puppet) design, implementation and support
Excellent knowledge of mail systems (Postfix).
Excellent knowledge of monitoring systems (Nagios, Cacti).
Expert knowledge of system and network management concepts
Excellent knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, NTP, HTTP and routing.
Excellent knowledge of HP Intel based server hardware and technology
Excellent knowledge of OS Imaging/deployment and patching solutions
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
BSc degree in EE/CS/Computer Engineering preferred, or relevant work experience/certification.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
